Auguste Herbin gives meaning to abstraction by creating correspondences between shapes and colors. He devotes himself to geometric painting, consisting of figures in flat colors. The panoramic Modelage was transposed on a smaller scale to create AUGUSTE. The grain of this wallpaper has a beautiful matte finish and recalls the painter's canvas. Created by our creative studio in gouache on a modeling paste, worked with serrated knives, AUGUSTE reveals astonishing effects of textures and volumes.
